I had the incredible honor of welcoming SCAD's Class of 2028 as the Student Emcee for the SCAD Hive Block Party, one of the university’s most electric and celebrated traditions. Selected as a charismatic student voice to represent the SCAD brand, I had the privilege of leading the Block Party Parade alongside SCAD Founder and President Paula Wallace, energizing the crowd with chants, cheers, and contagious excitement as they embarked on their SCAD journey.
The experience was not just about hyping up the crowd - it was about creating a moment of unity, anticipation, and pure joy, setting the stage for these new students to dive into a transformative college experience. Capturing the magic of the event, I produced a one-minute highlight reel, a heartfelt letter to the incoming class, encapsulating the spirit, energy, and camaraderie of this unforgettable kickoff to the academic year.
